Octillion Power Systems, a global provider of high-density lithium-ion battery packs for EVs and energy storage applications, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Reno, Nevada.
The 40,000-square-foot facility, known as Nevada One, is expected to strengthen Octillion’s presence in the North American electric vehicle, off-highway, commercial equipment, marine, and grid storage markets.

Nevada One will showcase Octillion’s battery system manufacturing capabilities, integrating advanced automation, robotics, and skilled labor across its production lines.
“Opening the Nevada One facility is a key step in our North American expansion strategy,” commented Paul Beach, Global President. “Our growing manufacturing footprint in
By 2025, Nevada One’s production capacity is forecasted to reach 1 GWh, adding to Octillion’s estimated 25 GWh of total annual production across its seven global manufacturing facilities.
“The arrival of Octillion in Western Nevada is a major boon for our state’s electrification industry,” commented Taylor Adams CEO of the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada (EDAWN). “Octillion’s reputation as a global-leading tier-1 supplier of batteries for the electric vehicle industry is a clear signal that Nevada is on the right track for leading in automotive energy storage.”
Octillion plans to employ a Reno-based engineering team focused on quality assurance and system innovation. The facility is expected to create 40–50 jobs at peak capacity, supporting both skilled and non-skilled roles in the region.
The Nevada One facility is projected to become operational within eight months of lease signing, reflecting Octillion’s ability to rapidly scale factory operations. The company also supports clients in scaling their own custom mass-volume battery production in six to twelve months, depending on project scope and customization requirements.
Continued Paul Beach, “Nevada provides an incredibly supportive clean tech business climate. Octillion is intent on doing everything possible to help reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by providing domestic electric vehicle manufacturers with exceptional battery systems capable of meeting demand for large-scale passenger and commercial fleet lines.”
