LION E-Mobility AG has announced that its subsidiary, LION Smart GmbH, has entered into a strategic partnership with hofer powertrain Group. The collaboration aims to accelerate the market introduction of immersion-cooled, high-performance battery systems, combining small-series development with scalable industrialization.
The agreement combines LION Smart’s modular, immersion-cooled battery platform technologies with hofer powertrain’s development and validation expertise across drivetrain systems. The companies plan to jointly address key automotive applications requiring high thermal stability, safety, and energy density.
